Percentage questions on increasing and decreasing

Application of Formula this formula x + y + (xy)/100 is only used for continuous increased and decreased %)
(x and y  are increase take value of x and y +ve if x and y are decreases take value of x and y –ve)
If result is +ve then effect is increases and if result is –ve then effect is decreases
Ø  This formula is also applicable for this type variable formula (X ´ Y) and (X ´ Y´ Z)
 

Example1: If A’s salary first increased by 10% and then it increased by 20%, then his salary increased by:
यदि A के वेतन  में पहले 10 % की वृद्धि किया जाए तथा उसके बाद 20% की वृद्धि की जाए, तो उसके वेतन में कितना प्रतिशत की वृद्धि होगी?
Solution: x + y + (xy)/100
=10+20+(10 x 20)/100 =30+2=32%
